Fly Swats

Have you ever managed to swat a fly in midair?

It's the second most difficult thing in fly swatting. The holy grail is to do the same, but freehand with no swatter. The softness of human skin (vs plastic) makes it hard to not just have it bounce off, though. :op

4. I catch them. It seems strange to me that everyone can't just grab them.
5. I catch fruit flies in my hand. I can't imagine swatting one in midair, though. I can swat them against the wall with my hand. Worked out a special technique. Fruit flies, that is. Houseflies don't let me get my hand that close. I don't think I could swat ANY fly mid-air. I have the have two surfaces involved. (Hand-wall, fingers-rest of hand, or swatter-wall/floor/ceiling/counter/tv/someone's head....
