Mosquito/Bug Zapper always trips the GFCI circuit?
I bought a Black&Decker bug zapper. Everytime I plug it in to the outdoor wall outlet, it trips the GFCI circuit immediately. I've been plugging chain saw, trimmer, and lawn mower to the outdoor outlet before and they worked fine. I have no problem plugging it into the wall outlet indoors. What is the problem?

- Maybe a bad unit. It should be under a 90 day warranty with proof of purchase or sales slip. Take it back.

- ok ya need to plug it in to a non-ground falt /the gfi is do ing its job.
